Snow condition
From 1800 ok. But the strong wind has cleared the snow from many of the summits and slopes. Nothing can be done below 1800 meters, even in Engelberg.
Snow quality
Great at 3000 meters, an insurmountable cover from 2000 meters - due to heat and rain. Some of the slopes are also icy.
Risks
SLF reports warning level 3: The strong wind has transported a lot of snow. And this is coming to rest on a slippery and hard layer of old snow.
Overall impression
A foundation is in place. What we need now is a meter of snow down to lower altitudes. Only then will it finally be possible to ski the deeper routes such as the foliage. You can see more green than white on the foliage run.
