Central Switzerland South - 2 days of undisturbed powder skiing

Overall impression
Snow condition
Unlike in other regions, there is a really good base above 2000m, which makes a lot of things possible. But below that it quickly deteriorates. Here you notice every meter. Andermatt at 1500m is practically snow-free. And the further north you go, the less it gets. Fresh snow, I estimate between 30cm-40cm above 2200m. Tours from the valley are currently not really feasible without a lot of effort.
Snow quality
The higher, the better. The last few days have been very warm here too, and at around 2000, it was just below freezing. Super fluffy at the top, some of the steeper north-facing sections blown out by the wind. Damp and heavy below 2000m.
Risks
SLF reported a 3 with danger signs of new and drifting snow. There were few signs of wind yesterday, but it freshened up considerably towards the evening today and some snow was transported. The wet sliding snow avalanches below 2000m are certainly critical. Yesterday we made a descent into the valley that we would have done better without. Today we saw lots of older boards and chutes, which have probably come off due to the warming in the last few days.
Overall impression
Two completely relaxed days in the area with good conditions, a few sunny hours, zero powder stress and a great crew.
Now just get the temperatures down and it would be perfect.
