Better ploughed backcountry than full slopes

Snow condition
Between Titlis and Trübsee it is actually quite rideable, only where the exits of the Steinberg and Sulz routes come together and many people pass through you have to reckon with stones. The lack of snow is most noticeable on the bushes, which are otherwise well snowed in and now present almost insurmountable obstacles. I would only tackle the foliage with an old ski. However, according to insider tips, the upper part is supposed to be quite good.
Snow quality
The quality of the snow varies greatly, the skiing is very varied. On the ski tour to the Gross Titlis, you would have been well served with crampons, it was so blown off. The wind was also up to mischief in Steinberg and Sulz, but the skiing was quite good. And if you look hard enough, you can still find excellent snow on slopes sheltered from the wind.
Risks
SLF reports warning level 2 and you can see a few cracks in the terrain. However, the snow has probably already slid over the last few days.
Overall impression
Despite the difficult conditions, I had a lot of fun today - and did something good to combat the Christmas gluttony. And when I looked at the crowded slopes, I was glad to be far away from all the hustle and bustle.
