Snow condition
The somewhat surprising dump has improved the snow conditions in the lower-lying areas. Last week the snow line was at around 1400m on the south side, but now it has snowed down to lower altitudes. At 1000m approx. 20-30cm - above that increasingly up to approx. 50 cm. Downhill runs down to the trunk at approx. 1000m possible, but still very thin. Streams and other terrain traps are not yet completely closed.
Snow quality
Yesterday was simply awesome. Unbound, slightly fluffy... Despite 50cm you could feel the base or the lack of base. Quite blunt, today lightly bound, but still a snow base not to be despised.
Risks
Yesterday in the area we were in the standard variants that rarely go above 30°. A few steeper sections (south-facing) were skied and made a stable impression. On the north side, I'm still suspicious of the high top. See the outline at the top left of picture 4
Overall impression
Today we waited the whole time for the storm which, apart from high temperatures, didn't arrive here - so we had to make use of the good snow all day and therefore climbed up several times. And yesterday was phenomenal....
