Moderate snow conditions. Some valley runs are stony. Off the south side it gets really difficult below 2000 m, from 1500 m it snows out very heavily. Forest runs are not really possible anywhere. The last snowfall was a few days ago.

Sun-drenched exposures are surfy around midday but also quickly boggy and not yet transformed into spring snow, on the shaded side partly well-set old snow, often very compact and pressed by the wind.

Risks

Wet snow in steep, sunny terrain goes to the bottom. Especially below rocks. There are also slippery snow mouths everywhere on the mountain, as well as loose sliding snow avalanches.

Great weather but not ideal conditions. You have to search hard for good snow at low and medium altitudes. The pistes and the groomed off-piste terrain are skiable but it has little to do with freeriding. Let's see if it looks better tomorrow on the north side in sheltered gullies, otherwise it's probably best to make a pilgrimage to areas well above 2000m.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
