Snow condition
It looks like there is a lot of snow and you can make numerous turns in deep snow. Nevertheless, some stones are still barely covered or just barely covered. With a good choice of route, however, you can almost completely avoid coming into contact with stones. The descent to the Mer de Glace gondola is doable right to the end, but you will inevitably pick up a few stones here.

Snow quality
Great powder, especially further up in the Vallée Blanche or on our tour from 2,500 m. If you ski down before the sun touches the snow, it's really dusty! Otherwise, it's still very good skiing, even if it gets a bit heavier towards midday/afternoon.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
The avalanche report had not indicated any great danger for our exposure (SW) for the day, although there was basically a 3. We could only confirm this impression. At the top of the 45° steep couloir, the snow was more than waist-deep and we couldn't see any weak layers. Roped up from the col, we tried to trigger avalanches - without success (or is that not a success after all?).
Overall impression
What an unforgettable day. The "approach" to the tour was great freeriding through the Petit Envers, the ascent went without a hitch and the final couloir was overloaded with fresh snow. It took us 1.5 hours to cover 200 m in the 45° steep couloir, it was a real scramble and you need a special kind of motivation for that. But it was worth it in the end.
