Mer de Glace in good conditions with perfect bumps and many untracked options in the surrounding area. Descents all the way down into the valley are combined with walking passages.
Snow quality
at the weekend still quite good powder about 20 cm which has preserved itself very well at altitude, as it remained quite cold. at the Punta Hellbronner there was a lot of sun on the south sides and north a lot of wind and a good snow mix. it is better in the northern part of the Mer de Glace
Risks
Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)
Serac avalanche on Mt Blanc du Tacul seems to have come down recently. It still hasn't started even days after the fresh snow.
Overall impression
Super ski conditions for Vallée Blanche and other classics. Couloir Cosmique was not yet groomed on Sunday. On Saturday there was a small amount of fresh snow on the Courmayeur side. Overall worthwhile conditions and accordingly a lot going on.
