SkiPlus in early summer temperatures around Chamonix.CR is unfortunately a little late because my cell phone didn't want to work like I did. I'll write a short report anyway, maybe someone will be interested in how it was before the current small N

Snow condition
I don't have anything to compare it to, but I spoke briefly to Guilia Monego in the gondola and she said "It feels like mid of april". glaciers are well snow-covered for walking and skiing. After Le Tour and Le Buet you come down through the terrain, to Argientiere on the piste. Nothing is possible on the southern slopes to Chamonix, from Vallee Blanche probably possible with lots of rocks and carrying points (we, like most others, didn't do this) and many exposed/steep sections obviously have little snow.
Snow quality
Powder snow could only be found throughout the week with good local knowledge (which I don't have) and hard work. It was much easier to ski beautiful firn. Otherwise, depending on the altitude and exposure, I encountered slopes with small soft overlays, wind-influenced snow surfaces and deep slush.
Risks
Observe the diurnal cycle for temperatures and solar radiation. At the beginning of the week, there were even larger spontaneous drops from higher, steep (also shady) locations.
Overall impression
Beautiful weather in an impressive ambience are worth 3 stars even with moderate snow conditions and quality.
