unfortunately i don't have a good comparison value as i've only been there in february so far. but overall it's not much. on the sunny side at flegere and brevent you can still find some firn runs, but the snow cover is often very thin. on the north side, of course, it looks a bit better at the top. the crevasses are mostly closed, but you still have to be careful.

after the snowfall on sunday, there is about 20 cm of fresh snow at the top. depending on the expo and the altitude, there is everything from fine powder to crushed snow, harsch, windpress, firn and slush.

Risks

overall quite relaxed. the main danger comes from sun-exposed slopes in the afternoon. the snow cover is quite stable on the north side.

the weather was pretty good until noon, the conditions in the gully were quite challenging today. lots of hard snow and only rarely powder.
