Less snow than usual at this time of year and some large rocks are still sticking out at the top. Nevertheless, the whole route is skiable without any rock contact and most of the crevasses are closed.

Hard, pressed snow
Powder snow

The wind must have been at work here. A little hidden powder mixes with wind-blown snow and hard spots. The steep exit couloir in particular is hard, but never so icy that you're afraid of slipping.

This variant is rideable, you just encounter lots of old tracks and constantly changing snow. The ambience is of course great! In principle, everything changes with the snowfall anyway, which according to the weather forecast should last for a good two weeks from tomorrow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
