Snow condition
very good. see report yesterday
Snow quality
Unfortunately much heavier than yesterday due to the overnight foehn storm. Drift snow in the open slopes to the left of the pendant lift which is slightly warmed and surfy.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
Snow cover snow test on a 35 degree north-west facing slope approx. 1900m resulted in a 30cm thick slab of drift snow with a smooth gliding surface. However, the additional weight of the skier was probably not enough to trigger it. Because less than 5 minutes later, a wild horde of 10 skiers all rushed down the slope at once, yodeling loudly. There was fog higher up today and the situation was certainly more tense
Overall impression
Hangover mood after the powder party yesterday. You can still use the leftovers but the top conditions are over. With a good eye, you can still find intact and powdery sections in sheltered areas. Unproductive snowfall from midday. The next batch of fresh snow is due tomorrow evening. Hopefully with a lower snow line this time
