Blown backs

Above the Waldgreze, strong winds from the N/NW had blown some of the ridges away. All in all, it was sharky again at terrain transitions and places exposed to the wind. Good snow conditions in hollows and in the forest between 200 and 1800m

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Wet snow

Crushed powder everywhere. There was almost nothing left near the ski area. In search of untracked snow, some made a pilgrimage to the Argentiere basin. Below 1800m, the snow gets warm and sticky.

Risks

No warning signs
North-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Fresh drift snow.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Better

Small condition check in the upper areas of Grands Montets. Bochard is open. Couloir Poubelle has been skied. Almost everything in the terrain is plowed up. Lots of wind flow everywhere. Unfortunately, the onset of fresh snow too. Hopefully something will finally come down without wind and even fluffier.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
