Very good snow conditions! Despite the south-facing orientation, rocks above 1500m are pretty well snowed in. Below that, the base is a bit thinner.

Snow quality

Wet snow
Powder snow

About 30 cm of fresh pow above 1800m, also quite fluffy. Below that, a few layers of fresh snow from the last few days and weeks. Significant rise in the iso at midday and consequently warming on the north side too. Massive drifts on the Herse Lift and in the upper part of Grabds Montets. Back partly free. 3 m snow build-up behind stones. Bad for skiing.

Risks

Old snow problem
Diurnal warming
Much fresh snow
South-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

Still very good in the forest in the morning. Then with the warmth the danger of wet slides in the steep terrain. Below approx. 1800m

Overall impression

Worse

The last few days have been great because of all the fresh snow, but because the lifts weren't always open or had to close early. Not quite as much was possible as we had hoped. In addition, the zero degree limit was just a bit high again so that the fluffy time was already over by late morning.
