5 cm fresh snow

There are now more stones on the piste in Flegere than off-piste. There are only a few large stones on exposed ridges. Otherwise, everything above 2200 m is still powdery on the east-north-west side. There's a bit of a cap on the south side, but the 5 cm from last night cushion it quite well. The Flegere descent is not recommended.

Snow quality

Hard, pressed snow

Powder snow

Almost deserves 4 stars on the north side. Still top powder. But because it's now heavily tracked and below 2200 m a cap quickly becomes noticeable, I only got 2 stars in total today.

Risks

No warning signs

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

Nothing to see except old boards. No new observations. But I would still be careful with really steep pitches.

Worse

Over the last few days, the piste conditions in Flegère have been getting worse day by day with more and more stones. So today I preferred to head into the vertical and tracked terrain. There wasn't much powder to be found apart from 5cm of mouse powder, but you can still find good powder in gullies if you're prepared to climb a bit. The nearby lines are almost all tracked. Like the last few days, there are a lot of people heading towards Col du du Floria and Crochues. Still good overall ... but for early December it could snow a bit more soon so that the ski surface can breathe again.
