Snow condition
Due to the persistent snowfall, mostly at night, the Vallée Blanche was still completely untracked in the morning, with around 20-30 cm of fresh snow. It is very easy to ski up to an altitude of around 2,400 meters, but from the section next to the large ice quarry, the rock and stone are completely covered and hidden by the fresh snow, which means that if you choose the wrong route, you will end up on huge rock faces. Caution is advised here.

Snow quality
Great powder that gets slightly heavier towards the bottom. Depending on your riding style, you can get the snow sprayed right up into your face. Nevertheless, it should be noted that much of the snow is windblown. This is not really a problem given the low steepness of the Vallée Blanche, but it is noticeable and visible.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: strong
Above: 2500 m
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
No avalanche activity or danger noticed on the classic Vallée Blanche route, but you should still be extremely careful due to all the fresh snow under the influence of wind. Many people have skied into the steeper Grand Envers, but I couldn't assess the danger there from a distance.
Overall impression
Great conditions at the top of the glacier, especially the classic Vallée Blanche run is great fun. The snow conditions could be a bit better, as there is often rock contact at the bottom and especially at the very end in front of the gondola. Should only get better with more snowfall.
