Snow condition
in the achental you can still get going from the bottom, but it's extremely ugly up to alpine pasture level, concrete snow. above that, however, it quickly improves. gullies and hollows are deeply filled, mountain pine fields are easy to walk on. at medium altitudes the situation is now good, below 1000m it's still closed, but below average. Light forest is also possible.
Snow quality
in the north sea tour and in the flat above 1300m still set powder, very nice to ride. below in the shade haxenbrecherbeton, facing the sun here and there sulz

funny, on the border to tirol, there was a level 1 (by) and a level 3 (trl) on the same mountain today. my personal impression was actually more in line with the latter, despite no immediate danger signs. The lines were wild.
Overall impression
after a cautious dream powder day yesterday in the pillerseetal, today a fun summit slope in the chiemgau with set powder and lots of gas pedal. a successful end to a beautiful weekend.
