30 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 1500 m)
Blown backs
Variations of snow cover

30 cm of fresh snow on a built-up base. Stone contact is unfortunately still unavoidable. Descent over meadows down to the valley possible but would recommend stone skis!

Snow quality

Powder snow
Wind drifted snow

Top! Nice powder, partly influenced by the wind.

Wind drifted snow

North North-Eas East North-West

Intensity: medium

Above: 2200 m

Risks

Old snow problem
Fresh avalanches
North North-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

Visible accumulations of drift snow in the north-east sector. However, the wind has been busy in the last few days in all exposures! Older accumulations of drift snow were partly covered by snow and are not visible. Snow cover on the ground mostly heavily built up.

Avalanche activity

North-Eas

Dry slab avalanche

Altitude: 2400 m

Small slab avalanche triggered by skier in NE exposure. Approx. 40cm high crack 15m wide.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne
Equal

It looks nice and wintry all the way down to the valley! Super powder above 2000m is unfortunately still difficult to use because of the many sharks. It remains cold and changeable and the first base is here! :)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
