There is snow, but very little. On the north side, maybe 25 cm total snow depth at best. On the south side, many slopes are bare.

Due to the cold, the little snow in sheltered northern locations is still OK. Due to the small amount of snow, it is usually hard to avoid getting on the ground even there.

You simply need a lot of snow to be able to ski or go on tours.
