Snow condition
Very good snow conditions down to the valley. Only on the south/sun side on steep slopes there are outcrops (further up mainly due to sliding snow avalanches)
Snow quality
All snow conditions available. From powder to slush. On the sunny side also already bearing melted snow cover. In the high mountains (e.g. Marmolada North) unfortunately very strong wind influence (dunes, harsch, ...). In north-facing, wind-protected areas, however, still dry, loose snow from last week's snowfall.
Risks
Quite a few slab avalanches (some with considerable heights). But getting better with increasing settlement. Diurnal flow is now also becoming more important (fresh, wet, loose snow slides in the afternoon on the south side).
Overall impression
Impressive Dolomite scenery. A few nice slopes. Overall not bad, but far from the optimum ...
