Overall, it doesn't look so good in the region. You can really forget about the south side and the north side is only really good from about 1800m upwards. Especially in the forest it's really bad all the way up, on open areas it can occasionally reach far down, even if only very thinly, and the narrower the gullies are, the better filled they are. At higher altitudes, however, you have to watch out for sharks almost everywhere.

Divers. At the very top, slab powder, a little real powder and wind-pressed snow, below that in the flatter part - unusual, but great to ride: Something like slightly damp, but very fast and grippy, firn-covered, formerly wind-blown snow. ;)At the bottom, a mixture of damp broken snow, slush and ice.

Risks

Low at the bottom: Generally quite compact and/or a highly variable and worked snow cover; the higher up, the more the influence of the wind becomes noticeable. Some drift snow can be seen, even if it is rather loose or already caked, and many areas further up with little snow.

Great tour in one of the thousands and thousands of gullies in the Dolomites, this time in the far NE, in the Sesto region.
Ambience and terrain great, but the snow - except in the middle part - was a bit poor.
So little snow also spoils the overall enjoyment somewhat, which is not something we are used to in the north at the moment.
All in all, there is pleasantly little going on.
The weather was still great at the beginning, but unfortunately it got cloudy later on.
