Snow condition
Unchanged since last week, i.e. usable up to 1700 on the north side, up to 2200 on the south side. Overall rather little snow, often with blown-off patches and few snow-covered stones.
Snow quality
Very cold today, -10 in the morning and -5 at midday, so a wintery, hard, grippy snow cover on the north side. Sometimes 5-10cm of heavily settled and wind-influenced powder. Not bad conditions for steeper stuff. It probably didn't firn up today. (We were only on the north side, not there anyway...)
Risks
Pay attention to small wind loads, otherwise quite safe.
Overall impression
Safe conditions for steeps and very few people out and about in good weather. Can't complain!
