Even at the end of April, the snow conditions on the Falzarego Pass are still super.... we had no problems getting back to the starting point either on the ascent or the descent.
Snow quality
Partly we had super firn on the south side... up to the Rif. Cantore the slopes were unfortunately already very rutted... On the northeast slope of the Tofana we also had good downhill conditions, only the Grad and the west slope were quite blown and icy....
Risks
The only thing that could be added to the 1s issued is that some minor wind loads were visible in the northeast.
Overall impression
Super tour in fantastic weather with a decent descent!
