70cm of settled base but still powdery and not particularly wet down to the valley (a little over 1000m) more towards the top, but I can't say how much...ski poles don't hit the ground though :)will probably be more than 2m. On top of the good snow, which is only a few days old but already settled, another 10 to 15cm was added overnight
Snow quality
Due to the wind-blown snow it was different but mostly very good as the temperatures were quite low. In the forest naturally without wind influence ...super powder. Even above the tree line there are fantastic snow conditions apart from blown off ridges...lots of drift snow!!!
Risks
Surprisingly stable snow cover...couldn't see any activity at all and we also skied gullies around 35 to 40 degrees. The big danger probably comes from the massive drift snow deposits.
Overall impression
If the visibility had been good all day it would have been 5 stars but unfortunately there was always a whiteout when clouds rolled in.
