Snow condition
The snow conditions are great, you can hardly complain. Even south of the valley at around 1000m there is enough snow. Overnight there was another 10cm in the valley and just under 20cm at 2000m. During the course of the day, another 10cm.
Snow quality
The freshly fallen snow was of quite fluffy quality, only below about 1400m the snow was a bit wet, but still good to ski. The snow had completely covered the old tracks, but as the base was still soft except on the south-facing slopes, it was quite ok to ski. Wind influence only noticeable above the tree line, but at least partly strong there.
Risks
We were only in the forest, there was no visibility, but the situation was certainly critical due to the wind.
Overall impression
Not really deep and hardly any visibility, but still a fun day in the forest, even if it could have snowed over the old tracks because of me...
