The snow conditions are great, you can hardly complain. There's even enough snow on the south side of the valley at around 1000 m. Overnight there was just under 10 cm in the valley and just under 20 cm at 2000 m. During the course of the day, another 10cm.
Snow quality
The freshly fallen new snow was of quite fluffy quality, only below about 1400m the snow was a bit wet, but still good to ski. The snow has completely covered the old tracks, but since the base was still soft except on southern slopes, it was quite ok to ski. Wind influence only noticeable above the tree line, but there at least partly strong.
Risks
We were only in the forest, there was no visibility, but the situation was certainly critical due to the wind.
Overall impression
Not really deep and hardly any visibility, but still a fun day in the forest, even if it could have snowed over the old tracks because of me...
