Exposition
Snow condition
Mixed snow conditions on the one hand, as there are still many bare slopes above 2000m that are snowed out or still too rocky. On the other hand, the forest on the north side is skiable almost down to the valley. Even if not every pole is snowed in yet, there is a good basis for the next snowfalls, which makes me optimistic
Snow quality
North-facing or shaded hollows still have good powder snow. no great sinking depth but very fast and pleasant to ski. The same goes for the north-facing forest. All other exposures are crushed or wind-pressed
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
Today it was below 35 degrees and so I had no experience with the readiness of drifting snow to release. in general it seems quite safe. With the old snow problem in mind, which is still partly the case here in the area, I'm keeping my hands off steep north-facing terrain for now
Overall impression
it's been quite cold the last few days, but the snow has held up well overall. most of the ski area has been covered in snow. but with a little creativity you can still find a few meters of untracked lines.
