Ski tour in Villgratental (1600-2600m), exposure E/SE

Overall impression
Snow condition
Thanks to the snowfall last week, it's pretty good! The Villgratental looked wintry white this morning, including south-facing slopes with a thick blanket of snow (although probably without much of a base at lower altitudes), and at the starting point at 1600m there was just under a meter of well-set snow with a good base. On our tour everything was wonderfully skiable, no ground contact.
Snow quality
Due to the strong sunshine at lower altitudes and on south-facing slopes, relatively heavy and damp already in the morning. Further up, mostly well-settled, sometimes slightly wind-influenced powder. All in all, still very good skiing.
Risks
Still not completely relaxed. Here in East Tyrol it has snowed quite a lot in the last few days and it has also been quite windy in the last few days, so watch out for drifting snow. On the steep north-facing slopes opposite, there have been some spontaneous releases (probably from yesterday or the day before). In addition, the strong sunlight has also warmed up during the day.
Overall impression
One of the better days this winter! Beautiful (and above all enough) snow and dream weather. Caution is still advised, but it was pretty good today. More of it!
