It still fits. You have to watch out for stones in the middle sections. A bit more has come down on the north side of the Tauern. Here it was between 20 and 30 cm. The big glaciers are probably starting to look pretty good.

Snow quality

Very heterogeneous conditions due to the heavy processing of the snow. Blown-off, icy surfaces, wind-pressed and heavily packed fresh snow could be found. However, there were some nice powder pockets (especially above 3000m). Unfortunately, very sticky fresh snow at the bottom. (#Wachsennedvergessen)

Risks

Heavy drifting, but snow conditions changing greatly on a small scale. Some smaller wet snow slides on the south side. Overall, not very problematic for the most part.

Great weather, good snow and no people. Lots of mankei, chamois and jackdaws instead. Very nice day. The snow was much better last weekend though...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
