Snow condition
The snow conditions in the East Tyrolean Villgratental are amazingly good, we started at an altitude of 1700m and from there took a forest path to an altitude of 1900m. From then on, all the slopes were easy to ski on.
Snow quality
The snow quality was also surprisingly good, we still found good snow on many slopes, sometimes really powder with a very thin cover...
Risks
We were able to observe a few older south-facing avalanches that were triggered below rocks or in gullies.
Overall impression
One of the most beautiful tours this year with amazingly good snow, and it was also very pleasing to use the skis without having to carry them.
