Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Altitude
1800 - 2800m
Avalanche warning level
moderate (2)
Exposition
Snow condition
Sufficient snow without touching the enemy, but not everything is snowed in yet. Handbrake on.
Snow quality
Unfortunately, the last dump was probably 2 weeks ago. Only a little powder to be found, primarily hard snow, railroad powder at the top.
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
Old sliding snow chutes and mouths, small powder cracks. Strong westerly wind at altitude. Old snow problem was not recognizable today, at least not for me.
Overall impression
The fresh snow didn't make it as far as the Villgratental. But it's probably much better than in the Bavarian Alps. Downhill conditions could be better, but there is snow and sun.
The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
