Decreasing rapidly. A lot of snow has melted again since Saturday, especially at lower altitudes. Ski touring in the Niedere Tauern is just about worth it at the moment, I think you'll really need a lot of motivation from next weekend onwards, but above 2000m is still just ok.
Snow quality
After it finally froze properly overnight today, it didn't really thaw out due to the light cloud cover, low temperatures and strong winds. I waited another hour, but even at 9 o'clock it was still completely hard on the east side.
Risks
I would now describe it as relaxed.
Overall impression
Well. That was probably the end of the season for me in the Niedere Tauern, from now on you have to go higher. It's a shame that there was no snow, unfortunately I was so cold at some point that I didn't want to wait any longer.
