Closed snow cover from 2000 m. Valley descent not yet open but possible with some walking. Up to 3400 m, most of the slopes are open and conditions are good. Glacier ice is completely covered and most of the few crevasses are no longer visible. So be careful and stay on the piste!

Since last week's snowfall, the snow cover has of course suffered somewhat due to the sunlight and is mostly hard on the south side. On the north side, the snow has been fairly well preserved and you can still find some wind-pressed powder. Stone contact cannot be ruled out at lower altitudes. Skiing on the slopes is currently more fun and easy on the equipment.

Risks

The risk of crevasses or falling is probably rather problematic, but you should still be careful on steep north-facing slopes.

Fun opening weekend in Les Deux Alpes. Good piste conditions with sunshine, panoramic views of the Western Alps and little activity. Unfortunately, there are no new snowfalls in sight for the time being.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
