Exposition

Snow condition

There is hardly any danger of sharks. The valleys are green in summer. The glacier on the Titlis is not completely snowed in, but all the crevasses are well closed.

Hard, pressed snow
Breakable crust

High up, it was pressed snow with a good grip, which wasn't particularly fun but was still controlled. Further down, the snow had recently melted and frozen again. However, there was no slush to be found in the variants of the ski area even at 4 pm. Accordingly, the conditions would have been worthy of a sequel to the legendary Shitfuck video. Unfortunately, Johan Jonsson with racing bindings was nowhere to be found.

Risks

No warning signs
North

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

The old snow problem is the main danger and is completely invisible. Only a few really fat old tear-off edges serve as a warning.

Overall impression

Equal

Sunny day with modest conditions. Unpacking the racing skis would have been more rewarding.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
