Snow condition
the base now looks good for the most part. However, some of the high alpine slopes have been more or less completely cleared of snow by the strong wind.
Snow quality
It starts to snow at midday on Monday with a lot of wind. By Tuesday evening, 50-70cm accumulate up to the tree line. Tuesday evening it rains up to about 1100m. Another 30cm by Wednesday morning, but rather wet up to the tree line... But still rideable. Thursday morning the weather is nice, but quite warm up to high altitudes. So in the morning you can already notice a superficial, light moisture in the sunny sides up to 2500, which has now become a lid on Friday.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: strong
Risks
Wind intensity: Extreme (> 60 km/h)
The last few days have been very tense, with some very large shipments.
Avalanche activity
Altitude: 2000 m
Overall impression
i think you can find a few nice turns in the snow and high alpine with great care.
