Snow condition
Quite little snow overall, but you can still do something for a while. Descent to Enzingerboden on the closed piste still possible.
Snow quality
Not really bad, but not really good either :) Everything is quite variable and you have to wait a little until it has softened. Powdery stuff can only be found occasionally. The best are untracked areas that can only be reached by walking.
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
A few wet snow avalanches could be seen from midday, but the sun was already very strong today.
Overall impression
Finally back on skis after a month off. All in all, it was a great day, even if the snow quality wasn't totally super. But the Stubach Valley is always a real eye-catcher. Not much going on in the terrain, apart from the two prime summit destinations (but even there it's spread out, of course). There are still plenty of opportunities. If you walk a bit, you'll also find one or two less-tracked lines, and it's advisable to do so due to the quality.
