Powder snow

Today's ascent was mostly a good-natured, easy-to-walk harsch cover, in the shady areas you can still powder, in the sun it goes towards firn and after the harsch cover also opened up for the descent, only the last few meters in the wet snow were actually no fun.

Risks

Diurnal warming

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

We didn't reach the height of the old snow problem indicated and the old drift snow deposits have now eased, so that it was possible to ski everything quite carefree. However, the descents resulting from self-release or loose snow slides show impressively what the situation was like here directly after the snowfall...

Worse

A gift day with few people on the trail. If you are prepared to carry your skis for a bit at the start, there is still plenty of space and opportunities to make your own tracks.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
