Snow condition

Descent to valley (to 1500 m)
Blown backs
Variations of snow cover

Lots of undergrowth on the western side of the valley due to strong winds. However, the snow cover is so firm that unexpected sharks are not a danger. There is no sign of the recent fresh snow

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Breakable crust
Wind drifted snow

I skied a gully in which it was quite stormy. It alternated between crushed harsch and stable harsch, ice and wind pressure. As a result, only careful jumping around in the gully was possible. No speedy skiing

Wind drifted snow

West North-West

Intensity: strong

Altitude: 1500 m – 2700 m

Risks

Cracking (When entering the snow cover)
West North-West

Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)

Overall impression

Equal

The western side of the valley in the lower Gleirschtal is currently not a pleasure in terms of snow quality. Several gullies are nevertheless possible. Watch out for drift snow!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
