Over 120 cm have fallen in the last four days. The zero degree line has not been above 800 m so far. It only rose to 1800 m today. Some strong southerly winds have moved the snow northwards. This can be seen very clearly on the ridges and some of the hollows are heavily laden. Rock contact is very rare on the north side. However, there is still 1m of snow missing in the lower elevations from 2000m upwards

You can find everything from the finest powder to hard snow and, from 1800 m, compact snow that has collapsed due to the heat.

Risks

A triple, no anomalies on the north side up to 40°, relatively good settlement, hardly any wind. On the south side, as in Madesimo, the fresh snow (30 cm) has already come loose from 30° in the form of loose snow slides.

Hammer Bluebird waist-high powder and north-facing "face shots" for all it's worth. What better birthday present could you ask for? We might ski the Malfata tomorrow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
