The fresh snow has settled well. Skiing down into the valley is still possible, even La Balma, from Punta Indren to Alagna, is still possible as far as the sports field. Bus transfer from there. Otherwise the snow conditions are very good. Free choice of route at any time, without stone contact.

It was very warm today. The zero degree limit was well above 2500m. There is still a wind cap at high altitudes which is very unpleasant to ride in. However, the sun and warmth soften this during the day and the conditions are quite good. There is still plenty of strong wind at higher altitudes. Some lifts have also closed this afternoon.

Risks

Still very tricky, as today's two avalanche accidents show. In Gressoney, however, some steep couloirs were also skied today without any major slides being observed. Level 3 here in the area since yesterday, which is fully OK. Not everything is possible yet,

Overall impression

Good snow conditions, good base, pretty good weather, little activity and the conditions are getting better every day.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
