thanks to the moonlight, the snow-free areas were clearly visible. these are still occasionally present above 2000 m.

some well-known snow researchers claim that powder snow is even fluffier and whiter under a full moon. I can now also confirm this ;)
Risks
safe on the descent, otherwise still quite tricky.

Great lighting conditions and one of the best beers in town!
