Overall impression
Snow condition
Significantly more snow on average than in recent years. The warm temperatures in recent times and the associated rain have created a very compact base. Breaking through or contact with the enemy is virtually impossible.
Snow quality
The fresh snow of the last few days has settled on the massive top. Good skiing in places, but due to the wind these areas often alternate with blown-off, almost icy patches. (Up to 2500 m above sea level).
Risks
Difficult to assess - two stable ice slabs with lots of loose and sometimes very wet snow in between. In the lee also drift snow - a colorful mix of everything.
Overall impression
So far still mediocre - although it can be ridden anywhere. Unfortunately, the powder enjoyment is still missing. But that should change next week ;)
