It snowed all night, but it felt like there was less snow on the mountain than yesterday. The wind must have been blowing a bit. Ground contact is sporadic but still present.

The persistently low temperatures preserve the powder quite well. Only the wind spoils the high feeling a little, as there is a certain inhomogeneity. The snow in the forest is great, but also well tracked by now.

Risks

The many powder addicts in the last few days have contributed a lot to the fact that the snow at lower altitudes has been properly compressed. At higher altitudes, things look quite different. Here the wind was able to blow a meter or two of snow around unhindered. The result is a picture of free-standing blades of grass paired with meter-high drifting snow. I would advise extreme caution here.

Quite a nice day. Unfortunately, our expectations after the snowy night were not fulfilled. But the sun came out again in the early afternoon.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
