Snow condition

It has been snowing all last night and today. The slopestyle qualification of the Laax Open was canceled for today due to the amount of fresh snow. All in all about 30 cm net of fresh snow.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

Wonderful powder - only partially influenced by the wind until midday. From then on, massive snow drifts. Up to approx. 1600 m above sea level. Everything okay in terms of temperature. Below then slightly plus degrees from the afternoon.

Risks

Classic fresh snow - wind situation. We were only out and about in hilly terrain. As soon as it got a bit steeper, you could kick a small board off every edge. Skiing on consistently steep slopes is not recommended. Crack heights of up to 40 cm. The wind picked up strongly from 1400 hrs. I'm sure it will be exciting tomorrow.... Lots of wind and plenty of fresh snow according to the forecast.

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
