Due to the warmer temperatures of the last few days, everything has settled a little. At higher altitudes (2500 - 3000 m), however, the persistently strong wind has moved a lot of snow. Most of the ridges have been blown clear and the open terrain here means that areas with little snow alternate with areas with more snow.

Quite blown and already a noticeable lid beyond 2000m. Haxn zam and speed helps, but it's not really great. At lower altitudes, the sun has done its work and the snow is quite heavy.

Risks

Below 2000m I would say it has slowly eased. Above that, however, it remains critical. Despite taking care and trying to drive rather cautiously, we were able to observe crack propagation and a settling snow cover "live" several times yesterday and today.

At the moment, there are certainly places where you can ride better.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
