Not enough in the forest, even on forest paths it's already thin. The higher you go, the more irregularly the rest of the January snowfall is distributed.
Snow quality
Still quite nice in places (nice in the sense of ******). Slight moisture penetration on the south side, but no load-bearing cover yet. In shallow slopes and places protected from the wind, soft snow can still be found. The higher up, the more wind there was and some of the snow is no longer usable.
Risks
Wumms still accompany you from time to time at higher altitudes. Have tried to find halfway rideable snow on flat southern slopes, no problem there.
Overall impression
Beautiful day with sun and warmth. Ski tour mainly for the ascent. The perfectly groomed pistes are better suited for the descent ;-)
