It looks good at the top and, apart from slopes that are quite exposed to the wind, the stones have now disappeared under a solid layer of snow. The situation is different at lower altitudes, where there is still some serious undergrowth to be seen, but the meadows are quite good.
Snow quality
Cold and fine powder at the top, would be worth five stars if it weren't for the deeper layers where the snow was slightly crusty. But that's a star deduction on a very high level....
Risks
Very tricky and absolutely level three. We were accordingly defensive on the trail, but this in no way limited our enjoyment of the mountain world.
Overall impression
It was absolutely the best today, great snow, the weather played along, discovered a new play area and shared the happiness....this is real winter!!!
