Up from Preda and down to snow-covered Bergün. Not an awful lot, but enough.

Powder and crust powder. The exposed north-facing slopes above 2800 are a little wind-milled and sugary. The south-facing slopes have a light crust of melted snow. On the plateau, the wind crust from the beginning of the wiche is partially blown bare. But the drift snow is not far away.

Risks

The drift snow is recognizable in the upper layers, but some sun elevations still carry significantly more snow or have already spontaneously descended as large loose snow avalanches. Overall, it looks like the LLB but more settled and well connected.

After a three-week break due to a cold, the gliding poles feel like they weigh a ton and you try to work your way up the loose turns slowly and sparingly. A nice long tour. The first two thirds are a bit tough because they are flat.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
