Snow report Grisons, 02/15/2017
Spring ski tour on the Buelenhorn.
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
Quite lean, from 2200 in the open slopes generally a maximum of 30cm. In the lower layers, it was guaranteed to rattle underneath the surfaces in all exposures.
Snow quality
There is everything: spring powder in the northern shady areas, melting sulzharsch crust and spring sweat snow.
Risks
Hardly noticeable because there is simply very little snow. The sun-exposed slopes went down during the first warm days at the beginning of the week. The ones that haven't been skied yet only occasionally give the impression that they could go down.
Overall impression
A beautiful, lonely tour because, according to the guide, it is also a spring tour. Going on this tour in February has a somewhat bland aftertaste.
