Doch noch Pulverschnee, gefunden bei Davos

Overall impression
Snow condition
The side valleys (Sertig, Flüela Pass etc.) around Davos are very well snowed in for this winter. Our tour today (Sentisch Horn) supposedly needs a lot of snow (partly blocky slopes) and that's exactly what we got. Rocks etc. are well snowed in and we didn't have to constantly worry that hidden "obstacles" were strewn about, but in the valley the fresh snow was only a few centimeters, but further up - from about 2200m - it snowed much more. In these areas, the crust was largely imperceptible on the descent.
Snow quality
The fresh snow is still fluffy on the north side and not extremely affected by the wind/storm in sheltered areas.
Risks
A 2 was issued for the area around Davos. There were no fresh signs of avalanche activity.
Overall impression
Today, with good weather, great slopes and beautiful snow, has now scratched the 4-star mark after all. Subject to the overall situation this winter, of course. Nevertheless, a day of touring that will be remembered for the quality of the skiing.
