Skitour in St. Antönien bei schlechter Sicht und noch schlechterem Schnee

Snow condition
It's ok, bumps and small ditches are great for training the legs. Feels a little worse than yesterday in Klosters. But the difference is not huge. A good 5 cm fell this morning, a few showers later in the day without any significant increase. It got very warm in the afternoon and it rained a lot again. 2-3 stars.
Snow quality
One of the worst this winter. Up to the summit region on the north side at 2000m with crust, with a little damp fresh snow on top. Where there were old tracks in the crust, it was particularly good. At lower altitudes, the crust also wore better and it was therefore a bit nicer to ski. One of the really good days...
Risks
The snow cover is stable, now it is being consolidated by the rain. A large wet loose snow avalanche has come down today. A lot will happen overnight, check slf.ch tomorrow. Snow line fluctuated again and again towards the evening. Currently further down again. Larger amounts than in the forecasts for the region won't come together, I don't think. But you never know.
Overall impression
You haven't missed anything today. Let's see what the next few days bring.
