Overall impression
Snow condition
Contrary to expectations, enough base & fresh food in the Magic Forest on Tuesday Forest for shredding without remorse in the current dump. Then on Wednesday, after the end of the dump a total of roundabout 30-40cm of freshness on top of everything on top.
Snow quality
It was still nice and lively on Tuesday. However, as the snowfall temperatures, all the powderiness was already quite compacted on Wednesday, when the sun was shining brightly, the powder was already quite compacted, but but still powder. The wind influence directly in Maloja up to 2100m was rather weak to moderate.
Risks
Not a particularly apocalyptic scene directly in and around Maloja (LLB had once flirted with a 4 for the area. That was definitely not). No spontaneous descents, but nevertheless increasing wind influence with altitude wind influence (Julierpass was more or less bare), so a 3 was certainly justified at the top. Due to the warming, however, everything should settle down.
Overall impression
On both days certainly the place to have been! All in all a solid base for more dumps to come soon. Only 3 stars, because the little bit of extra fluffyness and maybe (I really don't want to be really don't want to be ungrateful, but... 10 centimeters more were missing for the Powkalypse.
